A One-time purchase keeps the rules it came with. It makes final documents until those rules are six months past their last check. After that you keep every document and can still generate drafts.
The terms
- DossierForge is sold to businesses. All prices exclude VAT. There are no delivery or transaction costs. You pay per product, so a maker with three products pays for three.
- A product is anything that needs its own technical file. A variant that needs its own file is its own product.
- Products two to ten on Maintain cost €590 a year each. A One-time purchase is €299 for every product.
- Products eleven to one hundred cost €290 a year each, on an annual invoice. Above one hundred products, a site licence is quoted from €32,910 a year. Plan a call
- Your €299 One-time payment counts toward your first Maintain year until the last day its rules can make final documents. You see that date before you pay.
The European Commission estimates the documentation, conformity work and reporting at about €12,600 per product. Source and caveat
The estimate is in the Commission's impact assessment for the Cyber Resilience Act, SWD(2022) 282 final. It puts technical documentation, conformity work and reporting exploited vulnerabilities and incidents to ENISA, the EU cybersecurity agency, at about 9% of an assumed €140,000 average development cost per product.
The assessment says of that 9% figure that it "could however not be verified", so treat it as the Commission's estimate rather than as an established cost.
What you keep
The PDF and Word files you generated for the Cyber Resilience Act stay on your disk, and you can open and edit them without DossierForge.
A One-time purchase is built not to expire. It makes new final documents for about six months after its rules were last checked. Copies of documents you already made keep their original date.
Maintain keeps your rules current for as long as you subscribe.
Without a One-time purchase or Maintain, the app falls back to the free preview for one product. New output then has watermarked first pages and no Word file.

How do I activate my licence?
Your licence key arrives by email after payment. Paste it into DossierForge to activate your licence.
What if it does not work for my product?
See the first pages of your own dossier in the free preview before you buy. If you did buy and it did not produce a usable dossier for your product, write to us and we fix it. If we cannot make it work, we refund your purchase, as the terms of sale set out. If we refund a purchase, that licence stops working the next time the app reaches our licence service.
Can my own reviewer use the output?
Yes. Your reviewer can read and edit the PDF and Word files without DossierForge. References to the Cyber Resilience Act appear under the section headings.
